Nirmala Sitharaman, the minister of finance, stated on Sunday that improving the ease of doing business was not just the responsibility of the federal government and that it was also necessary to improve it at the state, district, municipality, and even Panchayat levels.
The finance minister offered some words of wisdom to budding entrepreneurs while addressing at an event in Kota. She advised them to be willing to take risks while also remaining open to shutting down if the business venture did not succeed.
The central government is not solely responsible for the convenience of doing business. because businesses do, in fact, begin in some states. Meaningful regulations may be implemented by the central government. But farther down, the state governments would also need to contribute to the ease of doing business, said Sitharaman in conversation with a student in the city, which is renowned for its hip coaching facilities.
When asked how one may become an entrepreneur
The finance minister listed four characteristics.
- First, be willing to take a risk.
- Next, become familiar with government facilities.
- Third, Review Competitions.
- Be prepared to close your doors if your company fails and launch new initiatives.

Regarding the digital university, she said it is advancing and would aid in reaching areas where offline universities are unable to operate. This year, it’s progressing well. In answer to a query, Sitharaman stated that there has been a lot of interest from both the awardees and those working in the field of education to learn how their universities can effectively transition to being digital.
